Can I start with the Community plan and upgrade later?
Yes — the codebase is identical across all tiers. Teams frequently start with the open-source Community build to validate fit, then migrate to Starter or Business once they're ready to go live. We provide a migration guide and support the transition.
What counts as a DPP record?
One DPP record corresponds to one unique product unit with a linked Digital Product Passport — typically tied to a single serial number or batch identifier. Product type templates do not count toward your record limit.
Are regulatory updates automatic on all paid plans?
Yes. Starter, Business, and Enterprise plans all receive automatic updates to regulatory rule sets — including ESPR delegated acts, EU Battery Regulation annexes, and REACH substance lists. Community users apply updates manually via the standard GitHub release cycle.
How long does implementation take?
A first pilot DPP — typically for your highest-priority product line — can be live in 6–12 weeks. Full portfolio rollout depends on supply chain data availability and ERP integration complexity. We scope this in detail during the onboarding stage.
What happens if I exceed my DPP record or API call limit?
We'll notify you before you hit your limit. Overage rates are available on request, or you can upgrade to the next tier. We never cut off access without warning.
Is there a partner or reseller programme?
Yes. Consulting firms, system integrators, and technology partners can embed or resell tap2.cloud under a partner agreement that includes white-label rights, partner margin, technical certification, and joint go-to-market support. Contact us for details.
