Battery.live

Battery.live is a system for digital labelling and identification using QR code or NFC technology which, in conjunction with the cloud integrated in tap2.cloud, meets the special requirements of a digital battery pass.

The smartphone can be used to quickly call up battery specifications in accordance with DIN DKE SPEC 99100, request a repair service or easily order spare parts – without having to install software on the smartphone beforehand. The matching cloud solution tap2.cloud and a user-optimised web app are already included in the system.

The European “Green Deal”

A central component is the new Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, which came into force on 17 August 2023.
It ensures that batteries become more environmentally friendly, transparent and efficient throughout their entire life cycle.
An important component is the digital battery passport, which records all relevant data on the origin, composition and recyclability
of a battery – a decisive step towards a resource-conserving circular economy.
